# 4 How you and your family can Survive the Last Days

Years ago, the Lord gave me a vision that I didn’t fully understood until this week.  It is together that we will build Zion. It is together that we can build a sin-resistant generation and become sin-resistant ourselves.  It is together that we will not only survive but SHINE in the last days. Heavenly Father did not send us here to do this alone. He knows that together we can do great things.  Heavenly Father wants us to stop judging and comparing ourselves with other Moms because that divides us. I kept trying to create the refuge in my vision, but it was never right. Now I understand.  Heavenly Father helped me see this week that Moms of Light was the refuge in my vision.   I hope that you will be part of this beautiful refuge we are building at Moms of Light and invite others to join as we come together to learn from each other and BUILD ZION IN OUR LIVES NOW!

Weekly Challenge – Write a TEN PAGE paper describing why you are the way you are. This is very helpful because it helps you see what your story is. In the book, Who would I be without my story,  it talks about how “our story” holds us back. This ten-page self-evaluation helps us to go DEEP and uncover parts of our story we never realized we believed.  It is only through honest self-evaluation that the Lord can help us see where we are and where He wants us to be.

From the Book The Godseed

“Filled with light,” with “no darkness” in them, suggests that they have no shadowy or unknown aspects of themselves. Each knows himself perfectly, having emptied out and purified the unconscious mind. He does not lie to himself, is not in conflict of any sort, has all the streams and developmental lines of his being integrated in the endeavor to bless and to do good continually. This state would reflect a previous period of relentless self-honesty until all the shadows were swept away in the light of truth. The Gods say, “I Am that I AM” (Exodus 3: 14), reflecting their perfect knowing of who they are.”

“The value of pursuing self-knowledge with penetrating honesty is that blindspots and filters may be removed, clearing one’s perception so as to comprehend all truth. This cleansing allows us to perceive things as they are instead of through the filter of our own self-ignorance or self-deception: “that when he shall appear we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is” (Moroni 7: 48).”
“God is always conscious: He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121: 4). Until we have come fully to Christ, we suffer from some degree of spiritual unconsciousness. The scriptural promise is that these attributes can be developed beyond what we might have thought likely, even as we walk this life.”
