———-GREAT QUOTES————

President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“Pondering this truth—that we are children of heavenly parents—fills us with a sense of origin, purpose, and destiny.

It is good to remember that you are always a child of God. This knowledge will carry you through the most difficult times in your life and will inspire you to accomplish remarkable things. However, it is also important to remember that being a daughter of eternal parents is not a distinction you earned or you will ever lose. You will always and forever remain a daughter of God. Your Heavenly Father has high aspirations for you

My dear sisters in the gospel, whether you are 8 or 108, there is one thing that I hope you truly understand and know:

You are loved.

You are dear to your heavenly parents.

The infinite and eternal Creator of light and life knows you! He is mindful of you.

Yes, God loves you this very day and always.

He is not waiting to love you until you have overcome your weaknesses and bad habits. He loves you today with a full understanding of your struggles. He is aware that you reach up to Him in heartfelt and hopeful prayer. He knows of the times you have held onto the fading light and believed—even in the midst of growing darkness. He knows of your sufferings. He knows of your remorse for the times you have fallen short or failed. And still He loves you.

And God knows of your successes; though they may seem small to you, He acknowledges and cherishes each one of them.

He knows everything about you. He sees you clearly—He knows you as you really are. And He loves you—today and always!”

Elder Holland “God never leaves us alone, never leaves us unaided in the challenges that we face.”

President Hinckley “I think of the power and force of angels that stand among us”

Elder Dallin H Oaks “All over the world, faithful Later Day Saints are protected from the powers of the evil one and his servants until they finish their missions in morality … and we continue our course with the protection of guardian angels.

Elder Holland “In times of special need, He sent angels, divine messenger to bless His children, reassure them that heaven always very close.”

President Wilford Woodruff spoke of this truth often “In general conference in 1880 he said “The eyes of the Heavenly hosts are over us; the eyes of God Himself and His son Jesus Christ; we are not shut out from God, we are not shut out from our brethren, though the veil be between us. They understand our works, our conditions, our position.”  He said “I believe they watch over us with great interest.”

“Although angels have various sacred goals and purposes, time and again their chief assignment is to provide comfort to a suffering or grieving mortal. But most often it is to comfort, to provide some form of merciful attention, guidance in difficult times. “   Elder Jeffery R Holland

Elder Holland he said “I believe we need to speak of and believe in and bear testimony of the ministering of angels MORE than we sometimes do.”

President Harold B Lee said “When we begin to understand that beyond sight, as Brigham Young said, the spirit world is right here round about us, and if our spiritual eyes could be open, we could see others visiting with us, directing us. And if we learn not to be so sophisticated that we rule out that possibility of impressions from those who are beyond sight, then we too have a dream that will direct us as revelation.”

“Although angels have various sacred goals and purposes, time and again their chief assignment is to provide comfort to a suffering or grieving mortal. But most often it is to comfort, to provide some form of merciful attention, guidance in difficult times. “   Elder Jeffery R Holland

“One of the things that will become more important in our lives the longer we live is the reality of angels, their work and their ministry. I refer here not alone to the angel Moroni but also to those more personal ministering angels who are with us and around us, empowered to help us and who do exactly that (see 3 Ne. 7:18; Moro. 7:29–32, 37; D&C 107:20).  Elder Holland’s talk For a Wise Purpose

“Because of God’s great love, He has set heavenly beings to watch over us and to guard us from the attacks of evil powers while we live on the earth.  We do not realize that in our daily walk and work we are not alone, but angels attend us wherever our duty causes us to go” Elder James E Talmage, Millennial
